Every crop draws nutrients from the soil, so even good potting soil runs low after a season of growing. Instead of replacing it, the Soil Re-Amend Kit puts back what plants have taken out. Fish, kelp and alfalfa meals supply nitrogen and trace elements, crab meal adds chitin that feeds beneficial soil microbes, and fish bone meal and Cal-Phos add phosphorus and calcium for strong roots and flowering.
K-Mag adds potassium, magnesium and sulfur, while gypsum and aragonite supply calcium for healthy soil structure and strong plant cell walls. As soil microbes break these organic ingredients down, nutrients are released slowly, at a pace plants can use.

Application:
Use 2 cups of Re-Amend Kit per cubic foot of soil.
For containers:
- Cut back the old plant and lift the root ball out of the pot.
- Break up the root ball and soil in a large tub or on a tarp until loose and workable.
- Mix in the Re-Amend Kit until evenly distributed.
- Moisten the soil, cover it and let it rest for one to two weeks so the amendments can begin to break down.
- Return the soil to the pot and replant. For no-till growing, top-dress with compost or mulch and wait a few days before replanting.
For raised beds: Clear spent plants, loosen the soil and work the kit in at the same rate. Water well, then let the bed rest for one to two weeks before planting.
Mixing the kit with compost, worm castings or Soil-Kashi before applying can speed up the breakdown process.
