Solid Teak Patio Furniture, From a Balcony Table to a 79-Inch Dining Table

One material decides most of this range. Every piece is solid teak, which is why teak patio furniture costs more up front than powder-coated steel or acacia and why it stays outside with no sealer to reapply — the wood's own oil holds off water, rot, mold, mildew and insects. This teak outdoor furniture range runs from folding chairs and bar stools to dining tables, loungers, a bench and a deep-seating set, plus bath and kitchen teak; no umbrellas, covers or boxed dining sets. Chairs and tables sell one at a time, so a dining group gets built SKU by SKU; with the wood the same throughout, size, seat count and folding separate them.

Seating: what folds, what stays put

Several seats fold flat for the off-season. The Telluride teak folding chair (natural or oiled) has a 17.5-inch seat and slat work that drains fast. The Sierra string seat is the smallest of them at 18 inches tall and doubles as a shower stool. The Emmett bar stool sits at a 30-inch seat height; the folding lounge chair's polystrand seat is about 15 inches off the ground.

The larger seating does not fold. The Telluride rocking chair (natural or oiled) is solid Indonesian teak, rated to 300 lbs, with easy assembly. The Naples sun lounger reclines at back and legrest, hides a pull-out side table and rolls on two rear wheels; at nearly 78 inches it wants a permanent spot. The Åre teak garden bench is 47 inches wide and seats two adults; the Ubud bar stool ships fully assembled. The Kauai deep-seating set pairs an L-shaped couch with an accent chair and white Sunbrella cushions — the only cushioned seating here.

Tables, from a 20-inch round to the long one

The Ruger side table is a 20-inch round, assembled on arrival and foldable; the Telluride 28-inch square (natural or oiled) is a folding two-person balcony table. A size up: the Telluride 39-inch square seats up to four and has a covered umbrella hole, the 51-inch drop-leaf folds down on one side or both, and the Naples 47-inch round folds too, with the same covered hole.

The teak outdoor dining table here is the Ubud, the longest top on the page: 79 by 35 inches, a three-plank slatted surface that sheds rain, suited to four to six chairs. The Kauai coffee table has a center umbrella hole.

Teak indoors, where other wood swells

Teak takes bathroom humidity the way it takes rain, so part of this range never sees a patio. The Newport and Tulum shower caddies hang over the shower head with no hardware, two shelves and lower hooks each; the Tulum is wider, shorter, slatted. The Savannah sauna bench holds 250 lbs, stows towels below and comes in 28- and 40-inch lengths. The Branch towel ladder leans on a wall at 71 inches, no drilling. Two things to plan for

Color moves: no two pieces share a grain, and sun pulls teak from honey toward silver-gray. NordicTeak calls that fading cosmetic, not a loss of strength; teak oil brings the tone back, and leaving it alone costs nothing.

Weather still gets a vote. Most listings ask you to store or cover the piece in extreme weather; a few, the Branch towel ladder among them, are covered-outdoor only. The Åre bench, Savannah bench, Telluride rocking chair and the Ubud table and bar stool name teak from partnered tree farms and carry a one-year warranty; the rest say only that the wood is sustainably sourced, no grade or certification named.
