Care & Maintenance:

While oiling or re-oiling teak is generally based on personal preference, and it is not necessary.

If the color starts to fade and you wish to bring it back to the original coloring, you can apply a teak oil. Color fading over time is a cosmetic change within the wood, not an indication that the wood has lost its’ strength.
