StoreYourBoard Garage and Shed Storage Racks

This collection is aimed at one specific person: the gardener whose shed floor stopped being floor two seasons ago. Rakes leaning on shovels, a bike in the only clear lane, a ladder lying flat because there is nowhere to stand it up. The wall is the obvious answer and the awkward one — a wall is only empty until you drill it, and most people want to drill once. The racks here are StoreYourBoard's answer to that wall; the wall-mounted ones go into wooden studs with the wood hardware included. Concrete works too, though masonry anchors are sold separately.

Fixed racks for the long-handled pile

That pile eats the most floor. Three fixed racks clear it at three weights. The Bedford 4-Level is the smallest — four staggered slots 1.5" wide, angled so a rake does not slide back out, 100 lbs of industrial-grade steel, and two halves that mount separately for any stud spacing. The Rockbridge 2' sets three black powder-coated attachments into a natural wood backplate — two 9.5" hangers for long handles, one multi-purpose piece with spring-loaded hooks — and holds 125 lbs on 16" studs. The Bedrock 3' is the heavy one: four slots, 250 lbs, fully assembled out of the carton, sold singly or in a pair.

Buy a track if what you hang keeps changing

Fixed slots hold the arrangement you drill for; adjustable ones survive a change of hobby. The Multi-Use Adjustable Wall Track comes in three lengths, and length sets the capacity: 32" with two backplates, eight hooks and 300 lbs; 48" with three and ten at 450 lbs; 64" with four and twelve at 600 lbs. The 4' G-Tool system trades hook count for precision — a 46" track, 45 mounting slots, room for six attachments, and a quick-pull 3D locking pin that moves a hanger without drilling again. It holds 300 lbs of steel and aluminum; the solid-shelf version keeps that rating and adds a top shelf for bins, rated to 100 lbs. When drilling is off the table, the same six-attachment rack comes freestanding on its own base, 81" tall, at 300 lbs.

Shelves, a bench, and two carts

Bristol garage shelves: Two-packs of industrial powder-coated steel tubing, mounted side by side or stacked, on any stud spacing. Shelf length is the difference: the 2' x 4' pair carries 400 lbs with eight hooks, the 2' x 6' pair 500 lbs with ten.

The Wakefield folding workbench is a 40" x 18" butcher-block-style top on stainless brackets rated to 200 lbs; a lever drops it flat against the wall when the potting is done. It also comes as a Workshop Essentials set with a 34" x 32" pegboard and 13 locking peg attachments. If the work moves around, the rolling utility cart holds 14 long-handled tools, four pegboard panels, a 5-gallon bucket rack and a paper towel holder on locking casters; the Shovel Shuttle packs more than 60 slots and 14 elastic loops into a 32.5" footprint.

Bikes, ladders, and boards

Swivel bike hooks come four to a pack, each rated to 50 lbs, rubber-coated so they will not mark a carbon rim, swiveling 62 degrees either way to fold a bike flat; they take tires up to 2.6" wide, but not fat-tire bikes. The BLAT racks — Built Like A Tank — hold one bike with its helmet and shoes on a single 16" backplate at 200 lbs, or four bikes, four helmets and two pairs of shoes at 600 lbs. Ladders hang on the simplest piece here: a plain wall hook, no assembly, 12.3" deep, enough for two or three. Overhead, the Hi-Port 2 ceiling rack adjusts through 10" to 18" of clearance and rotates 90 degrees to your joists; the single holds 75 lbs, the double 150. Outside, the Sandbridge rack holds up to two paddleboards on foam-padded adjustable arms, with a weather-resistant coat, stainless hardware and tie-down loops.

Almost every rack here carries a lifetime warranty; the two rolling carts and the freestanding organizer do not.
