The USDA recommends pressure canning as the only safe way to can meat, fish, poultry and vegetables, and these are built first and foremost as canners. Each one is hand cast from aluminum in the USA, where All-American canners have been made since 1930.

They seal without a gasket: precision-machined metal meets metal, held by positive-action clamping locks. There is no rubber ring to crack, burn, replace or clean.

Sizes, counted in jars

Every size lists how many standard Mason jars fit in one load:

Your stove decides too

The 910, 915 and 925 can be used on newer glass and flat-top ranges; check your stove maker's weight limit first. The 930 and 941 are heavy and not suitable for glass tops.

What every model shares

Every model has a geared steam gauge and a regulator weight with 5, 10 and 15 psi settings. Under unusual pressure the metal-to-metal seal vents automatically, and there is an automatic overpressure release as well. The top handle is stay-cool bakelite, the edges are double thickness where wear is heaviest, and the satin finish wipes clean. Instructions and a canning rack come in the box (two racks with the 925, 930 and 941), and the 910 adds a recipe book.

Greg Seaman, who founded Eartheasy, wrote: "We bought an All-American Pressure Canner (Model 921) over 30 years ago, and have used it exclusively for all our canning. It is still as good as new."
