The preformed divider helps so you can grow your herbs separately and tend to them comfortably. The bottom of the VegTrug raised garden planter has slatted wood, and each liner compartment allows for drainage and aeration.

I did not purchase this item from this store, but from a different one. However, I am looking for a second and saw it advertised on Eartheasy's website. This is a fabulous planter that has held up for 2 seasons with no issues. I live in New England and my herb planter is outside from the end of March into November, so it gets hard use and horrendous weather conditions including, frost, hail, and snow! My herbs are perfect in this planter which is right on the patio by my kitchen door. Easy access means nice use for cooking! This went together easily, the sections are great, and the bottom bench is handy. One of my best purchases as a gardener!

Plenty of space for growing herbs.
I only gave 3 stars because the quality was poor. The wood frame had cracks all over it, and was really rough/rustic.
