Overview

Perfect for lawns, vegetable gardens and flower gardens, this soil pH meter is designed to check the pH levels of your garden soil, ensuring your plants have the correct balance for optimal growth.

How does it work? The chemical reactions between the bi-metallic probe and acidic or alkaline soil produce enough voltage to make the indicator needle move, measuring pH from 3.5 to 9. The 26.5" long cord lets you insert the 4.25" probe into the soil with one hand and hold the meter in your other hand to read the results. As you test different locations around your garden, simply wipe the dirt off the probe in between tests.

The meter comes with a chart listing over 400 plant species and their preferred pH range, along with instructions for adjusting the pH of your soil. It also includes a cleaning pad for removing any oxide that may accumulate on the probe in between uses.
