Which Size Is Right for You?

Small Slat Window Box - 23" L - A kitchen window herb garden, holding 4.8 gallons of soil with a 3.9-gallon water reservoir. Perfect for basil, parsley and chives within reach of the stove, or a few bright annuals under a narrow window. Hangs with a set of 2 Slat Brackets.

Medium Slat Window Box - 35" L - Our pick for a classic flower box, holding 7.9 gallons of soil with a 5.8-gallon water reservoir. Room for a mix of upright geraniums and trailing petunias or nasturtiums spilling over the front. Hangs with a set of 2 Slat Brackets.

All sizes are about 13" wide and 12" tall. To hang your window box, choose a set of 2 Slat Brackets for the Small or Medium, or a set of 3 for the Large.

How the TruDrop® System Works

1. Plant & water from the top. Fill the window box with a quality potting mix, plant, and water the soil well to start the wicking action.
2. Fill the reservoir. From then on, add water to the reservoir until the indicator reads full.
3. Roots drink as needed. Moisture wicks up evenly from below, with no swings between soggy and bone-dry.
4. Check the indicator. Top up when it drops. You can add liquid fertilizer to the reservoir to feed as you water.

Please note, Slat Brackets are sold separately: Small and Medium window boxes require a set of 2, and the Large requires a set of 3. Screws are not included. A planted, fully watered window box is heavy, so mount brackets securely into a solid surface and check with your local hardware store for the right screws for your wall.
