If you want to grow your own organic vegetables and you're looking for a low-maintenance garden, this complete system may be perfect for you. Measuring 8 feet by 8 feet, this self-contained garden provides 45 square feet of planting space, and is perfect for a family of four.
The greenhouse cover helps you start your garden early and protects your plants from frost. You can easily take off the greenhouse cover and framing in minutes. When the greenhouse frame and cover are installed, you can access the inside through a 30-inch wide by 78-inch tall doorway with closing zipper.

- Raised Garden Bed – Easily accessible raised beds are 20 inches tall. Soil fills right to the bottom. Great for growing all sorts of vegetables, herbs, fruit and flowers.
- Greenhouse - Strong 1" diameter green powder coated metal greenhouse framing, with 6mm low-density polyethylene cover with anti-UV and anti-fog properties. Cover includes venting with insect netting along the sides, front and rear of the greenhouse.

Assembly:
You can assemble this garden/greenhouse kit yourself, or have a local handyperson follow the instructions and set it up for you. Assembly takes about 4-5 hours, and adding the soil (75 cubic feet) can take an additional few hours. Note that no digging is required as the entire structure sits directly on the ground. Select a sunny and level piece of land for your garden.
All of our fencing sections are backed with 3/4" wire mesh. When the fencing is delivered, the mesh is already affixed. So, it takes only minutes to attach the fencing sections to the garden beds. Up close, it looks attractive, but from a distance you can't even see it.

Optional Automatic Watering System:
Located at the back corner of the garden, this automatic soaker hose watering system takes even the simplest of duties out of your hands. We use a digital battery operated controller that is very easy to use. A garden hose can be connected to the unit, or the hose adaptor can be removed so the irrigation unit can be tied into your existing irrigation system with piping. When the controller turns on, water seeps out through the 75 ft. soaker hose. Includes:
- Digital Battery Operated Controller - automatically waters your garden.
- Soaker Hose - lay hose around your plants, cover with a layer of mulch, and water seeps out when the controller turns on.
- Coiled Hose - conveniently mounted in the walkway of the fenced garden.
- Sprayer - attaches to end of the coiled hose. You can manually spray your plants if you choose to, or use the hose to wash your hands.
Please note this irrigation system works best if your water pressure (psi) is between 10 and 80. If the psi is greater than 80, the programmable timer in our system could be damaged. We recommend purchasing a water pressure regulator that will take your water pressure down to 40 psi.

I had been hoping to order the 8 x 12 raised garden bed with greenhouse, but it was out of stock. After waiting a week or two I decided that the 8 x 8 would probably be large enough and ordered it. I was pleased that the kit arrived so quickly but we were so busy at that point that it was a couple of weeks before we could begin assembling the raised garden. We decided to seal the wood prior to assembly which in retrospect was probably much easier than doing it after. It also gave my husband a chance to become familiar with the various parts. Once it was all sealed and dried he was able to assemble it himself, with very little assistance from me. We had the area leveled and then limestone was put down. We also put wire mesh under the beds, extending it a few inches out around the perimeter, to deter critters from digging their way in. We also stapled landscape cloth inside the boxes to help contain the soil and discourage weed growth. By this point we did not feel the need to assemble the greenhouse kit but will either do that in the fall or early next spring. I had potted tomatoes, peppers, raspberries and a currant plant in containers that I simply placed on top of the soil that we had begun filling the beds with. We probably will not transplant them at this point as they are growing well at this mid-summer point in northern Michigan. I wish we had purchased the kit in the fall and had it ready for spring plants but other projects got in the way. But I'm looking forward to…

I assembled our 8'x8' raised garden bed kit with greenhouse cover; here are my impressions.
SHIPPING: We had an issue with the box that contained the greenhouse metal bars, hardware and cover. The box arrived absolutely shredded--I swear it looked like a gorilla needed to get inside that box! The top 1/3 of the front face of the box was completely gone. Surprisingly though, there was no damage to any of the metal poles, and only a couple of items were missing. I contacted EarthEasy with pictures of the box, and they immediately shipped out replacement parts. Nice! Unfortunately one of the items that was missing was a batch of screws, and the screws that they sent as replacements were the wrong ones, but honestly, I didn't care. I had all of the special items that I couldn't get at my local hardware, and a box of screws is cheap.
INSTALL LOCATION:
My install location was flat and easy. With an 8x8' square (essentially), buyers should consider the extent that they'll need to level out their install location. I did not have any leveling to do. Also--I was installing over established lawns with a sprinkler system already installed, so I needed to make sure that my install location did not go over the top of sprinkler heads or inground "boxes" where valves were.
INSTALL CONSTRUCTION:
This kit comes with very clear directions, and it's easy to assemble. I put the raised bed portion together in a few hours, and the greenhouse frame the following weekend in about 1 1/2 hours. I…
