Overview

Styled after a traditional clam hod used by New England clammers to hold and clean their catch, the Baby Garden Hod allows for harvesting and rinsing, fruit and vegetables all in the same basket. With a flat braided handle that is soft and comfortable and swings to the side for easy loading and unloading.

Designed for harvesting and washing plants, fruits, and vegetables, users have discovered that the Hod lends itself to hundreds of other uses -inside and house- any time of the year. Extremely versatile, used for everything from a picnic basket to a toy basket.

Crafted in Maine and built to last from quality hard and soft woods and durable food-grade vinyl coated wire. This hod was devised from the same cage-like material used to make lobster traps. The industrial-strength wire mesh is armored with a tough vinyl coating that can withstand the harsh marine environment. This wire mesh works perfectly as a strainer for rinsing off produce with a garden hose, holding your harvest but not the dirt.

  • Measures 11" long x 5" wide x 8-1/4" high
