Assembly:
Basic assembly of the cedar storage shed is required and takes one to two days with a helper, depending on your skill level. All hardware is included and includes illustrated step-by-step instructions.
This cedar garden shed naturally weathers to a light grey color. We recommend staining or painting the shed. Western red cedar wood accepts a wide range of finishes to help you customize the appearance of shed. Unlike pressure treated lumber, there are no toxic chemical preservatives used in its manufacturing.

OK, let me just say that the shed is absolutely gorgeous. I’m in northern Virginia and my neighbors constantly stop and tell me how much they love it AND ask me where I got it. There are no outbuildings here that they sell that look like this. I love the handcrafted look. I love the color of the windows and the flower boxes.
Make sure you know you have to put together your own shelves or whatever you want inside. I added insulation which was a few hundred dollars, And a lot of racks for my tools.

The shed is a beautiful shed once assembled, and quality materials except the roof. However, it is much too complicated for your average handyman. We had to hire professionals to assemble. The roof material was very flimsy and silver instead of the promised black. Only half the roof was shipped. We ended up going to a metal fabricator to get a better quality and the color we wanted.
