Overview

This rustic "cottage" feeder features an open, fly through design that invites a wide variety of birds to feed, while the large platform accommodates several birds at a time.

Bird feeders can offer seeds, mealworms or bird food (cracked corn, millet, sunflower, safflower, Niger seed, rapeseed, canola seed, etc), and the success in attracting birds will depend on the placement, as well as the kinds of foods offered, as different species have different preferences.

This hopper feeder is made from eastern white pine, and can be mounted easily and securely on a pole, post or deck. The large roof protects both birds and their feed from the elements, while the perforated metal base allows drainage.
