Teak Bathroom Accessories, Measured for a Wet Room

Six feet tall and an inch and a half deep. That is the Natural Teak Branch Towel Ladder — 23.5" wide by 71" high by 1.5" deep — and the second number is the reason it works in a bathroom with no wall left to spare. It leans, it carries towels, robes, throws and quilts on branch-inspired rungs, and it wants no drill, no anchors, no hole in the tile. The rest of the page follows the same logic. Bathrooms are hard on furniture: steam, splash and standing water swell particleboard, rust coated steel and turn plastic brittle. Teak treats all of that as ordinary. It is naturally high in oil, so it resists water, mold and mildew — the same reason it has been a boat-deck wood for generations.

Hanging storage, no hardware

Both shower caddies drop over the shower head and touch nothing else. The Newport is the taller at 29.92" high, 11.22" wide and 4.5" deep, with two shelves and built-in lower hooks for brushes, loofahs or a cap. The Tulum is shorter — 24" high, 12" wide, 5" deep — and built as open slats, so water runs through the shelves rather than pooling under the bottles. Its upper shelf gives 10" of width and 18" of clearance, which is the figure to check against your tallest conditioner. Neither needs tools or hardware, which is the whole argument in a rental. The Natural Teak Branch Mirror is the towel ladder's counterpart: the same 71" height, 18" wide, 2.25" deep, a full-length mirror in a contoured branch frame that leans or mounts vertically.

Somewhere to sit

The Savannah Sauna Bench comes in two lengths, 28" and 40" — same 14" depth, same 19" height, same 250 lb capacity — so length is the only variable: how much wall you can give it. The top is designed to drain, the lower shelves hold towels and supplies, the teak is sourced from partnered tree farms, and it is the one teak piece here with a stated warranty: one year, from the manufacturer. Two smaller seats sit alongside it, neither with storage. The Sierra Folding String Seat (18" long by 14.9" wide by 18" high) uses a slatted string-style seat that moves air through and dries fast, then folds flat for a closet. The Slatted Stool is the sculptural one — 17.7" high on a twisted slat geometry, 13.8" by 11.8" at the base, a smooth non-oiled finish that leaves the grain readable, shipped fully assembled. Both are listed as side tables as much as seats.

Cleaning the room, and the water

Two Skoy items cover the surfaces. The Skoy Scrub 2-Pack is cotton set with a food-grade non-toxic hardener, 6" by 5" per scrub, non-scratching on porcelain, tile, marble, grout and glass, and it lifts scale and hard-water spots. The scrubs go through the dishwasher, and they are made in Europe and packaged in the USA using recycled materials. The Skoy Eco Cleaning Cloth 4-Pack is the paper-towel replacement — 7" by 8" cloths that hold up to fifteen times their own weight, wash at up to 190°F, resist odor naturally and compost when spent. Skoy rates one cloth at 15 rolls of paper towels in an average household. For the water itself, the replacement cartridge for the Premium Shower Filtration System (made in the USA) holds 16 oz of bacteriostatic KDF-55 and 2 oz of crystal quartz, rated at roughly a year of removing chlorine and the odor of hydrogen sulfide while reducing heavy metals.

What teak asks of you

Very little. Wipe it with a damp cloth, dry it after a real soaking, keep it clear of standing water. Oiling is optional and cosmetic: left alone, teak drifts toward a soft silver-gray, and that shift is a surface change, not a loss of strength. A pass of teak oil brings the brown back whenever you want it.
