This quality wooden VegTrug potting table is ideal for your home, shed, greenhouse or garage and can also be used on a patio. The VegTrug potting bench includes a large metal insert which can hold up to 10 liters of soil (2.6 gallons) and is easy to remove for washing and cleaning.
This VegTrug potting bench includes a shelf at the back to hold your filled pots, ready for seeds or seedlings to be planted. On the left side of the table top there is a useful covered storage area to stash tools, seed packets and other small items. There is also a full length bottom shelf to hold potted plants, fertilizer or a watering can, plus hooks on the front for your tools.

The bench was very much a medium quality, some wood pieces were warped and/or swollen, so we actually had to make adjustments to accommodate. We had to cut down the top insert by a small amount because the fit was too tight. It wasn’t a huge deal, but slightly annoying. Overall I’d say it was fine, not great, but there’s really not much competition on the market as far as options are concerned. I searched before purchasing and came up with this option being the best of the bunch so a few modifications were better than the alternative.

I needed a multipurpose piece for my small balcony, and this is perfect. It’s the most compact potting bench I’ve found and I love that there are covers for the table surface. I use it as both a potting bench and for a grilling table. I have a small Weber grill that sits on top nicely. Though I had to install the bottom shelf below the side braces in order to fit my propane tank. You can also easily put it together with the VegTrug logo on the back if you don’t want it visible. I stained it before Potting it together so it would match the reddish wood off the rest of my patio.

Crazy plant ladies with small spaces rejoice! I have a small patio with a million plants, and this piece really saves time and my back. Easy to put together with two people. If you live in a humid climate, I'd recommend spraying down with polyurethane before assembly to protect the wood.

Easy to assemble and curiously light weight wood, this little table works for me. The key feature is the metal soil pan that is located under the removable slatted top that allows mess-free potting for smaller pots (up to 1 gallon). It is small, so for those of us with a serious garden habit should think of it as one piece of the garden operation. Perfect as a stand alone for the occasional gardener.
