Most items ship from our warehouse in Milwaukee, WI, but if you are ordering a heavy or oversized item, we often have the manufacturer ship it directly to you to reduce shipping costs and save you money. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on shipment weight and destination. Eartheasy can ship to residential and commercial addresses in all 50 US States, but unfortunately oversized products do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii. If you are in Alaska or Hawaii and have your heart set on an oversized item, give us a call and we’ll try our best to help you with a freight quote. Unfortunately we do not ship to U.S. Territories or U.S. military installations at this time, but we are working on making these options available soon.

Please check product pages to see whether your product is eligible for shipping to Canada, as unfortunately there are some products we cannot ship across the border. Canadian orders ship weekly on Thursdays via Purolator International and shipping costs include duties and taxes. Unfortunately, expedited shipping to Canada is not available at this time.

International:
Unfortunately we cannot ship internationally, including Mexico or freight forwarders. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Processing Time & Shipping Charges:
The "Lead Time" on a product specifies the number of business days for your item to be prepared by our warehouse. The Lead Time does not include the date the order is placed. This also applies for all shipping methods, including express methods. If your item is shipping freight, you will receive a call to schedule the delivery with your driver. LifeSaver filters are a microbiological water filter that uses ultra filtration technology to filter out viruses, bacteria, cysts and parasites from contaminated water sources. It allows you to purify unreliable municipal water supplies, rainwater, water taken directly from lakes, rivers, ponds, and even muddy puddles, allowing you to make thousands of liters / gallons of clean safe water. 

Choosing Replacement Filters:

LifeSaver Filters have a minimum 3 year guarantee from the point of purchase from an approved retailer or channel partner. In good storage conditions and in the original packaging, the product shelf life can be extended beyond 5 years. Filters sealed in aluminium barrier foil have a shelf life of 10 years from the date of sale. 

  • LifeSaver Liberty uses 2000L replacement filters
  • LifeSaver Wayfarer uses 5000L replacement filters
  • LifeSaver Jerrycan uses 10000L and 20000L replacement filters
  • LifeSaver Cube uses 5000L replacement filters

Filters should be stored out of direct sunlight and extremes of humidity and temperature. Storage temperatures should be within is -10°C/14°F and 50°C/122°F.

  • Filters out bacteria to a minimum of Log 6 (99.9999%)
  • Filters out viruses to a minimum of Log 4 (99.99%)

What Can't LifeSaver Remove?

LifeSaver Technology is able remove particles in suspension in water, not particles in solution. This means that some things will not be filtered out of your LifeSaver:

  • LifeSaver water filters are not suitable for filtering brackish or salt water
  • Pesticides and Heavy metals will not be filtered out. However, optional activated carbon filter removes chlorine, taste and odour
  • LifeSaver water filters are not suitable for grey water as they cannot filter out soaps and detergents in solution
  • LifeSaver water filters will filter out the microcystin (blue-green algae) bacteria but not the toxins and chemicals that the bacteria secretes in water
  • LifeSaver water filters will remove microbiological contamination from urine, however as there is a certain amount of salt which cannot be removed
  • LifeSaver is designed to filter water only and is not designed for filtering sugared or carbonated drinks, alcohol or any other liquids
