Overview

Canadice: Seedless grapes have white blossoms and dark purple colored fruits. They can be grown in zones 5-8 and require full sun. Their mature size will be 15-20’ tall and wide. Jelly, juice, and wine - this grape that does it all! A mature harvest can produce up to 20-30 lbs of fruit! This variety is cold-hardy and ripens before the Concord variety.

Concord: Seedless grapes have white blossoms and dark blue colored fruits. They can be grown in zones 5-8 and require full sun. These can mature between 15-20’ tall and wide. Different from the Concord seeded, the seedless is much sweeter and aromatic. It's ideal for cooking and baking, but can also make the perfect snack fresh! They are not the go-to Concord for wine and juice products. You'll be able to pick and enjoy your fresh seedless grapes in the late summer and early fall, a perfect ending to the hot months of the year.

Lakemont: Seedless grapes have white blossoms and white/green fruits. They can be grown in zones 5-8 and require full sun. These can mature between 3-9' wide and tall. Their tight curly queued vine will add old charm to your garden as it turns from deep green to vibrant yellow, and then bronze by fall! These grapes, with their sweet and tangy flavor, are best known to be a staple for raisin making!

Features & Benefits:

  • Self pollinating bushes
  • All varieties come bare root, roughly 10-12" tall
  • Requires full sun
  • Fruits in the late summer and early fall
  • Grown & shipped from the USA

*Please note, unfortunately at this time we cannot ship grapes into ID, NY, OR, WA. We continue to work with a network of growers to one day be able to.

Care Instructions:

Watering: These varieties of grapes will need to be watered daily for the first 3-5 weeks; then 2-3 times a week for the remainder of the year until winter. Watering needs may be altered due to extreme weather conditions.

Soil/Conditions: These varieties prefer well-draining, deep humus rich, loamy soil.

These varieties will need special care in terms of training to a trellis, regular pruning, and regular spraying sessions to achieve the highest yields possible. Even though these varieties are self-pollinating, you may want to plant other grape varieties nearby to increase your yield.

Shipping & Delivery:

All Bower & Branch plants are fresh from the grower and shipped in specialized grower packaging. Plants are shipped on specific days depending on your location to reduce days in transit, and are delivered by UPS to your door.

These grape varieties start shipping in April through May. Shipping is not available year-round. Unfortunately at this time we cannot ship grapes into ID, NY, OR, WA.
