Overview

The 6' x 6' elevated cedar playhouse is a great option for pre-school aged children and will provide a beautiful space for imaginary play. The two-story playhouse is constructed from Western red cedar for long-lasting strength. The lower level of the playhouse is designed to be a sandbox, but the options are limitless when left to the imagination!

The playhouse arrives with pre-cut pieces, and panelized walls, which attach to the floor frame. Assembly takes roughly 2 days, with minimal tools required. This playhouse ships unstained and accepts a wide range of finishes to help you create a personalized look.

The slide and post mounting hardware (for the foundation), are not included. If you choose to add a slide to your playhouse, look for a slide that will fit a 48-53" platform height. Some customers choose to install a second ladder instead.

Assembly:

Foundation: Please be aware that the posts for the sandbox must be fastened securely into the ground. The site should be levelled and cleared of debris before starting. Following the included step by step instructions, you will need to install concrete footings and purchase post mounting hardware to secure the playhouse to the ground.

Playhouse: Assembly of the playhouse itself is required, and takes about two days with a helper, depending on your skill level. Some customers choose to hire a contractor/handyman. Playhouse components arrive in pre-assembled panels, with some holes pre-drilled to help with ease of construction. All hardware is included and minimal tools are needed. The playhouse comes with illustrated step-by-step instructions.

This cedar playhouse naturally weathers to a light grey color. We strongly recommend staining or painting the shed to extend it's lifespan. Western red cedar wood accepts a wide range of finishes to help you customize the appearance of shed. Unlike pressure treated lumber, there are no toxic chemical preservatives used in its manufacturing.

Shipping & Delivery:

Please Note: The 6' x 6' cedar playhouse ships on two pallets, strapped together as one piece, via standard motor freight. The freight carrier will call in advance to schedule delivery. You may need two people present to unload freight from the delivering freight carrier vehicle. Your shipment will be unloaded curbside.
