This 3' x 6' cedar raised garden bed with hinged fencing makes gardening a breeze. At 20 inches high, you can access the garden without kneeling on the ground, which saves your back and knees from becoming strained over time. The trellis - which doubles as a lid - allows more growing space for vining plants such as peas, beans, tomatoes and cucumbers.

Hinged Fence Panels, Fold-Down Front
Most fenced beds make you reach in over a fixed fence, which is exactly when plants get trodden and stems snapped. Here the front panels hang on heavy duty hinges and fold down flat, opening the whole front for planting, weeding and harvesting, then closing again in a second.
Trellis
Trellis doubles as a lid – perfect for keeping pests out of your garden when plants are young and the lid is down. As your plants grow, turn your lid into a trellis for climbing plants. You can easily open and close the trellis lid with two included western red cedar arms. The total height from the ground to the top of the trellis is 71 inches. The height with lid closed is 35 inches.
Solid Western Red Cedar
The bed is built from solid western red cedar boards, 1.25 inches thick. Cedar is naturally rot-resistant, so it needs no chemical treatment around food crops and arrives untreated and unstained. It comes with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Eco Wood Treatment can be applied to extend its life.
Easy Assembly:
This raised garden bed with hinged fencing takes about 1-2 hours to assemble, and comes with illustrated step-by-step instructions. All hardware is included.

Took a little time, but the directions were clear and assembly was straightforward. We love the top which allowed us to protect everything while it was just sprouting. If we have too many “visitors” we will drape a mesh cover from the top. Not inexpensive, but we are excited.

Comes not assembled so you do need some time to put it together. It took about 4 hours but I had two young helpers 🥰 I also have rough winters here so did some food safe staining to try to maintain it longer.
Plants just started to go in this week and the radishes are up! Excited to be avoiding the bunnies this year!

I bought this raised garden because I liked the attached trellis and the fact that it closes. I have had problems with birds destroying the plants in my other raised beds. Neither my husband nor I is terribly handy, but my handyman was sick so we decided to build it ourselves. It took us about eight hours and the cursing could be heard down the block! Pre-drilled holes would have been a major time saver. We did it, but it was painful.
