Made from durable, rot-resistant cedar, this 8' x 8' SunShed is like a potting shed crossed with a greenhouse! One side of the roof has a 6mm thick twin-wall translucent polycarbonate panel that allows filtered light to pour in - great for your vegetable or flower seedlings and other plants.

With plenty of natural light, you can also transform it into a hobby house, artist studio or use it as a simple storage solution. No matter what you choose, we’re sure you will love this unique, attractive and extremely functional garden shed.

The SunShed garden shed 8x8 has an 84" high wall on one side and large storage capacity of 384 cubic feet. Six functional aluminum windows with screens and locks allow for great ventilation, while keeping out bugs.

Since the shed is panelized, the walls, windows, door, and roof can be orientated in two different configurations to best suit your location.

• Cedar shingle panels pre-attached to ½” plywood sheathing, with roofing paper for water protection
• Proprietary seam filler shingles for a seamless roof

• All necessary roofing hardware

The metal roof option is a modern choice that goes beyond just aesthetics – it serves as a robust shield, ensuring long-lasting protection for your property against the elements. When choosing this option, it will include:

• Pre-cut 1×4 western red cedar roof battens
• 26 gauge drip caps
• 26 gauge galvalume roof panels
• 26 gauge ridge caps

Assembly:

Assembly of this SunShed garden shed is required and takes two to three days with a helper, depending on your skill level. All hardware is included and includes illustrated step-by-step instructions.

This SunShed 8 ft x 8 ft western red cedar garden shed naturally weathers to a light grey color. We recommend staining or painting the shed. Western red cedar wood accepts a wide range of finishes to help you customize the appearance of shed. Unlike pressure treated lumber, there are no toxic chemical preservatives used in its manufacturing.

Shipping & Delivery:

Please Note: The 8' x 8' SunShed Garden Shed ships on a pallet via standard motor freight. The freight carrier will call in advance to schedule a delivery date. On the morning of the delivery, we recommend calling the carrier to confirm your shipment is on schedule. Carriers typically deliver between 9am-5pm. Make sure you are present or have someone available to receive the shipment. At the time of delivery, do not sign until you have inspected the freight for any damage.

Liftgate Delivery: This means that the driver will take your skid to the back of the truck, place it on the liftgate, lower it to the ground and place it next to the truck. (A liftgate is required due to the large nature of this product; however, if you have a forklift at the delivery location, please call us before ordering and we will deduct the liftgate fee).

Once lift-gated down, take a moment to cut the straps and pull off the plastic tarp. Check for any corner damages, wood chips, sharp cuts/gouges to the product, or if the pallet is broken.

After checking the shipment, we recommend keeping the plastic shipping tarp to cover and protect the cedar components until you are ready to start your project. When finished, repurpose it!
