Overview

Use an Oya for effortless home garden irrigation. Old is new again with these beautiful and simple water-saving porous clay irrigation vessels called Oyas - traditionally called "ollas." An ancient form of localized plant irrigation, Oyas are planted in your garden to water slowly at the roots, saving water and making growing easy.

Just fill your Oya with water every few days and the rest is taken care of. Plant roots instinctively grow toward the porous clay of the Oya which allows them to take exactly the water they need when they need it, no more no less. The result is less water, easier growing and a more successful garden. Each Oya comes with a custom-fit silicone lid.

Oyas come in two sizes to take care of your watering from patio pots and planters to raised garden beds.

Small Oya

  • Waters a garden space up to 2 feet in diameter
  • Capacity: 1.1 quart (1 liter)
  • Dimensions: 5" wide x 7" high
  • Weight: 1 lb.

The Small Oya was designed for patio or porch pots and planters–small growing spaces of up to 2 feet long and/or wide. But it’s a versatile size and can be planted in any garden space with 6 inches of soil or more.

Medium Oya

  • Waters a garden space up to 3 feet in diameter
  • Capacity: 3.2 quarts (3 liters)
  • Dimensions: 7" wide x 10" high
  • Weight: 3 lbs.

The Medium Oya is great for planter boxes, small raised beds and larger containers. A good option for any garden looking to water up to 3 feet. A 3' x 6' raised bed is perfect with 2 medium Oyas.
