Many types and species of spiders are extremely important beneficial predators, responsible for keeping insect populations in a natural balance. A very small number of spider species cause problems for homeowners by running and wandering through homes. Only use this trap if you are concerned about venomous spiders, or have a silverfish outbreak.

Silverfish are attracted by food scraps, glue and old papers. The insects travel along edges, and can be caught beside baseboards, the corners of cupboards and along the back edges of shelving. Adult silverfish can live for years and lay only a few eggs at a time. Frequent cleaning and vacuuming, and disposal of old papers will assist in reducing silverfish problems. Long term use of silverfish traps will reduce troubling infestations.

Each trap has an effective radius of 10 feet when placed out in the open. When used in spaces such as a pantry or a cabinet, this range is limited to the space in which it's enclosed. Each trap lasts from 2-3 months, or until the board fills with bugs.

- The Spider and Silverfish trap are sticky-baited traps. Each trap lasts up to three months in normal conditions, at which point they are easy to dispose of.

- What are the ingredients used in the trap?
- The Non-Toxic Spider & Silverfish Trap works by mimicking spider and silverfish hiding places and is effective when placed along the baseboard of walls intercepting running insects in search of food in your home. There are no toxic or active ingredients in this product.

- Non-toxic spider traps are effective for immediate control of spiders in range of the trap.

  For long term control of spiders, and other insect pests, diatomaceous earth is effective. It takes a few days for results to show, but insect populations will diminish if you keep DE in the area.

I got my traps and they are AWESOME...I will highly recommend you!

Not only were the traps easy to assemble, but...they look kinda cute when they are in place: that "wedge" shape is perfect for inserting under my baseboard heaters, too.

Also...thank you for using FedEx for shipping. I'm homebound and get frequent packages: FedEx is far and away my favorite.
