Overview
This 8' x 8' x 12" Composite Raised Garden Bed features 64 square feet of planting space, plenty of room to grow healthy, organic vegetables. Composite wood garden beds are all-season durable, resistant to warping from winter frost and will not rot in damp climates.
Composite raised bed kit includes composite timbers, anchor snap-lock brackets and stacking snap-lock brackets.

Construction
Composite raised beds are made from a blend of wood fiber and UV-protected polypropylene (100% recycled). The timbers go a slightly lighter shade with age because of the wood fiber content. The connecting tool-free snap-lock brackets are made of high impact ABS plastic resin (100% recycled).
Each timber board is a standard 2 x 6 size (actual dimensions: 1.5" x 5.5") and 44.5" long, which creates a 4 foot span from joint to joint.
Assembly
Installation of the composite wood garden bed involves sliding the patented snap-lock brackets onto each end of a board and fasten securely with one snap-lock button. The snap-lock brackets have stakes which are simply pressed into the ground. To create a second level, slide the stake of another bracket into the top of the ground-level bracket from above. No tools required!
The patented anchor bracket system allows installation on hard surfaces such as rooftops, patios or decks as well as traditional landscapes.

I ordered this for an area in my raised bed garden area that was 30" X 8' on one side and 30" X 7' on the other side. This was VERY easy to modify, the boards cut just like wood. I have of course some boards left over, which I counted on, and the 'cut' pieces of boards I am using as a border in other garden areas. As soon as I can afford it I will convert my entire raised bed area into this product. I have a vast area to rebuild and used this kit as an experiment. I like it and will continue with this product throughout the winter months. Come next spring I will have a wonderful new raised bed area, finances available of course. And the cost here was actually lower then our local dealer (and the shipping is FREE)! :)

This garden bed was just what we needed for our large back yard. It provides a lot of growing area. The only down side is that it can be challenging to reach the center of the bed. I put a board down across the bed to help me do this.
