The fly larva feed on fungus that grows in the potting soil. When the adult flies emerge, they pop out of the soil and run up the plant stem and fly around your house. When using the Gnat Stix in your potted plants, the gnats will be attracted to the yellow sticky paper and get caught before they fly around your home. The sticky sheets are small enough so they won't take away from the look of your plants, yet large enough to catch the gnats.

How To Use:
The simple sticky trap assembles in seconds. Simply peel the release paper from the yellow sticky sheet, thread the included stick through the holes in the sheet, and place the stick in any potted plant infested with fungus gnats. This trap is also effective for aphids and scale insects. Each sheet lasts for approximately three months. The glue stays sticky even if it gets wet during watering. Replace sheet when it is full of insects.
