100-foot length, 1-inch in diameter, waters an average of 18” on either side of the hose (36” total). Inner dimension is 5/8".

Compared to the Water Wise and Pro Series soaker hoses we carry, the Osmile weeps the slowest. This makes it ideal for extended, low maintenance watering. The end of this hose is fitted with a screw on black cap (no pressure valve is necessary) which allows you to connect additional soaker hoses (with the Osmile you can add up to a mile more hose!). These hoses are so strong you can run the water at full pressure if necessary, with no problems.

Soaker hoses are a great way of conveniently watering your plants, and will help you reduce your water use by up to 90%. Lay the hose along your row of plants, layer some bark mulch over the hose (to further reduce evaporation), and then connect the soaker hose to your garden hose or to an automatic timer.

Gentle weeping action is ideal for flower beds, shrubs, vegetables, and trees. Use above or below ground. Long lasting, flexible rubber will not decay, crack, clog or be damaged by stepping on.

- Can the soaker hoses be left out over winter?
- Yes, soaker hoses are flexible enough to expand during a freeze. Of course, they will not deliver water when frozen, but you know that!

- i heard these osmile soaker hoses can be connected as far is a mile, is this true?can I connect 4 of them equaling 400 ft? and can i hook them up to a 4 spiket hose outlet? thank you
- Yes, you can connect these soaker hoses for some distance, although we have not tried this over a such distance as a mile.
  The water pressure influences the flow rate, which you can adjust at the spigot as needed. As long as there is pressure there will be flow. The pressure from the 4 spigot outlet will depend on the input flow pressure to the spigot, and the amount of flow diverted to the other three outlets from the spigot. You can control the flow to the soaker hose by adjusting the flow at the spigot.

- Can you run your hose at full pressure, and does the soaker hose have a pressure release valve on the end, or an outlet?
- You can run your water at full pressure if you like. These hoses are so strong they will not burst. There is no pressure release valve or outlet. The end of the hose has a black screw on cap that prevents water from escaping, by removing this cap you can connect additional hoses.

- Does the water disperse evenly along the length of the hose? Other hoses I have used permit greater flow from some sections and very little from other sections of the same hose, resulting in too much water in some areas and too little in others.
- Yes, the water does disperse evenly with the Premium Quality Double Wall Osmile Soaker Hose, even on slopes. However, there needs to be enough water pressure applied (the water needs to be turned on enough) to provide an even flow.

- Can I use these soaker hoses from a rain barrel or will that not provide enough pressure?
- A rain barrel will not provide sufficient pressure to use a soaker hose. To water from your rain barrel you can use a garden hose or drip tubing (tape). You will not be able to run a sprinkler or a soaker hose from the rain barrel.
