Product Description
Please Note: Trap includes 1 lure. For additional lures please click here
This Wasp Trap catches up to 75% more wasps than comparable traps because of the attractive lure. While irresistible to wasps, the smell won't bother humans.
The Oak Stump Farms Yellowjacket and Wasp Trap safely and efficiently catches yellowjackets and other wasps by baiting and capturing them in a reusable plastic jar.
The translucent cover over jar hides the dead wasps from view. The trap is reusable, non-toxic and safe for the environment. Comes with a hanger, and one lure (lasts 2 wks). Add an inch of water to the bottom of the jar to ensure wasp demise.
Made in USA. 8.5" tall, 3.5" wide. Ships to US lower 48 and Canada

- Since we also have a mosquito problem can I put apple cider vingar, distilled vinegar or bleach on the bottom of the trap instead of water? also how easy is it to clean out the trap as it needs emtying and the bait needs replacment every 2 weeks? also do you have another longer lasting bait that will work in this trap 2 weeks is so short? also how much will the shipping to hawaii be for this product?
also what if i made my own trap out of an plastic soda bottle with the top cut off and inverted to form a funnel, but I used your wasp lure and one of the liquids mentioned above at the bottom would this also work? also whether i use your trap or one i make what would keep the wasps from flying back out the same way they got in? - Hi Monica,
Considering the distance to your home in Hawaii, I think you can make an effective wasp trap and lure without having to depend on getting replacement lures shipped to you. The wasp traps and lures we sell are attractive, and convenient to bait and clean, but you can make a trap that is fundtional, which is the main thing you need.

- Are all your wasp traps so our very important honey bees can't enter them?? Or will these traps trap honey bees as well?
Thank you for your answer. -
For wasp traps that use liquid bait or water catchments, you can also add a 1/4 cup of vinegar to the water to discourage honeybees from entering the trap in search of water. - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No

- I have a lot of hummingbirds and butterflies that the wasp run away. I don't want my hummingbirds and butterflies getting caught in a wasp trap. Is there ANY possible way that this could happen?
- Hummingbirds and butterflies will not be attracted to the trap. They will also not be able to fit into the wasp trap.
