DYNATRAP™ insect eliminator effectively eliminates mosquitos, flies, no-see-ums, moths, Asian beetles, wasps, and yellow jackets without the use of propane or pesticides.
The DYNATRAP™ DT1000 operates economically and is easy to install. Two UV fluorescent bulbs produce warm light to attract insects to the trap. The titanium dioxide coated funnel produces a small amount of CO2 which is irresistible to mosquitos, luring the insects to the powerful yet whisper quiet vacuum fan. Insects are collected and trapped into the mesh cage at the bottom, where they quickly dehydrate and die. The mesh cage is removable, and the included brush is used in case some little bugs get caught in the mesh.
Note: This trap is most effective when left operating, especially in the evening when mosquitos are most prevalent. If used during a patio party, all the warmth and CO2 given off by your guests will be more of an attractant than the trap. It's best to use this trap for a few weeks before an event so you can reduce the mosquito population.
