This satin-finish stainless steel compost keeper is designed for temporarily storing kitchen compostible items, like egg shells, fruit and vegetable peels and greens, coffee grinds and more. It is attractive enough to keep on your kitchen counter, or it can be set safely on the kitchen floor. Your kitchen scraps can be stored odor-free and secure from insects, pests or the family pet.
The tight fitting lid holds a charcoal filter which will keep the pail odor-free for up to six months. This compost keeper comes with two filters, for up to 12 months use. The "Grip-EZ" cushioned stainless steel handle lets you securely carry the compost container when transferring the contents to your garden composter.
