A beautiful and natural self contained raised garden bed or planter in which to grow organic vegetables or flowers on patios, balconies and restricted spaces. This garden planter is easy to tend while standing or sitting on a stool or wheelchair.

Features:

• planter box widths are 37 1/2" by 37 1/2"

• planter box depth is 8''

• available in three heights: 12", 24", 35.5"

• made of natural, unstained weather-resistant western red cedar

• the bottom is made of two layers of crossed slats for superior strength which will not sag under the weight of the soil.

• the liner is a heavy-duty fiberglass weave over plastic mesh, which holds the soil in, but lets the water drain out

• restricts ground pests such as rabbits and moles

The 12" high floor model is appropriate for growing tall plants & vegetables like corn, beans and tomatoes.

The 24" high model is wheelchair and stool accessible which facilitates gardening for the handicapped and senior citizens.

The 36" high size lets you comfortably stand and garden at waist height. Each planter model has an interior planting depth of 8" which is suitable for most plants. Roots of large plants branch out through the dirt and can be staked up for stability.

Assembly time: 20 minutes. Holes are pre-drilled and all hardware and instructions are included.

Editor's Note: We own two of these raised container beds and we love them. Over time they will turn to a silver-grey color if left untreated. But I recommend you give yours a coat of tung oil finish to maintain the red-gold cedar color. It took me 15 minutes to apply the finish, and cost about $1 in tung oil.
