This PAR38 dimmable reflector flood is an ideal replacement for 60 to 70 watt incandescent PAR38 reflector floods.
When used in conjunction with a dimming control, it will dim to 10% of full light output. It is suitable for use in recessed downlights, and suitable for use in damp locations in a "base-up" position (in other words, when directed downwards). Philips amalgam technology will allow the flood to provide stable light output over a broad range of temperatures, and its ALTO designation means it's even better for the environment than conventional compact fluorescents due to lower mercury levels.
