Plastic Hanging Chicken Feeder

In raising chickens, it is common practice to provide them with a 'constant feeder', so they can have access to feed at any time. Chickens prefer to eat bugs and weeds which they can scratch up in their run or yard, but they need the backup of feed to ensure a steady diet. (And they do not abuse this by over-eating!)

Chicken raisers (that's you) also need a break from having to tend the flock every day. By using a constant feeder, and a hanging water fount, you can leave your birds in the coop or enclosed run for days at a time without the need to replenish their food or water.

This plastic feeder hangs at head-height for your chickens, making it inaccessible to pests and eliminating the ability of chickens to stand in their food.

To use, simply hang so the feeder is at a similar height to the chicken’s head. Put feed in the top of the feeder, and it will spill in to the outer rim as needed. It holds 11 lbs of chicken pellets, and features adjustable feed levels.
