- How far away does the trap need to be from the house? Other traps--Flies Be Gone--are said to require approximately 30 feet. How about this one?
- It can be any distance away you like. The reason why we often say to put the trap away from your home is because when flies start to accumulate in the trap, they start to smell. You can put it up close to your house, and if it does start to smell, just move it farther away.
