Use NatureMill anywhere: Fits inside any standard under-counter cabinet. Keep it in the kitchen, a garage, or laundry room. Use it outdoors, even in the snow, rain, or freezing temperatures. Keep the power supply dry, using a weather-rated power outlet (available at most hardware stores). For people living in colder climates where outdoor composting is difficult most of the year, the NatureMill offers a means to convert waste into compost all year. Houseplants, shrubs, flower beds and backyard vegetable gardens benefit from the premium fertilizer produced.

Discreet: In some communities, outdoor composting is not permitted. You can use it immediately, or store it in a container until you are ready to work in your garden.

No odors, worms, or bugs: Cultures consume waste quickly, without odors. The cultures produce a mild aroma similar to sourdough, mushrooms, or damp straw. Balance the chemistry by adding a small amount of sawdust to increase "brown" content, and baking soda to reduce acidity (both are included). A fan draws air into the machine continuously, providing oxygen to the cultures. The powerful carbon filter removes any lingering odors.

Compost makes a great gift to gardeners: The idea of giving a bag of finished compost as a gift may seem odd to some folks, but anyone who gardens would love to get it. Most gardeners would agree there is no such thing as 'enough' compost. If you have a neighbor who gardens, he or she will be thrilled to receive any extra finished compost you may have to give!
