We like this barrel because of it’s huge 65 gallon capacity. It has two overflow ports, so you can easily connect this barrel to another barrel, and still have an overflow port free to divert excess water.

The sides of the Moby are not vertical, which helps reduce pressure on the barrel if ice forms inside it. We always recommend you drain your barrel during freezing weather just in case.

The Moby barrel is made in North Carolina. The black and the green barrels are made with 100% recycled plastic, and the granite color is virgin plastic.

The top of the barrel has a large catchment area so it’s easy to divert water from your downspout into it.

It has two spigots at the base. One is very low, and this is for draining the barrel. The other is a foot or so off the ground, allowing you to thread your garden hose on to it, or put a watering can underneath.
