Megacatch Alpha Electric Mosquito Trap

The Alpha, like all of our traps, does not use (potentially) dangerous propane gas. Instead it uses patent pending multifrequency digital pulse LED lighting, a slightly heated surface, and an optional scented lure (called Octenol lures). The trap will work without the lures, but will work much better with them.

Octenol lures are a synthetic scent made to imitate the smell of warm-blooded animals. You won't be able to smell it, but the mosquitoes will. One lure will last for one month.

As the mosquitoes start probing the trap, they sense the infra red heat inside, and the internal fan sucks them in. They are swept into the catch bag, where they quickly dehydrate and die.
