Most smaller birds will avoid the company
of hawks, especially the Sharp-shinned Hawk which flies low into cover,
often near feeders, and preys on small birds. A hawk simulation can be
placed on your window or door to discourage birds from flying in this
direction.
Hang the silhouette directly on the glass in areas most frequented by
birds. The reusable suction cup lets you try the silhouette in different
areas to find the most effective placement.
The hawk silhouette
should be hung on the outside of the window or door so that it moves a
bit in the wind.
