The unique layering pattern is not stamped or printed; it’s true Damascus steel, formed by alternating layers of soft malleable wrought iron and hard, tempered steel. The iron provides elasticity to prevent chipping or breaking, while the steel gives it strength and the ability to hold a fine edge for a very long time. In fact, the blades consist of 67 layers of forged VG-10 Japanese steel!

The handles (and block) are made from moisture and stain resistant bamboo.

The block design is sleek so it takes less counter space and the unique cut-away view allows you to see which knife you’re grabbing, as well as showing off the beautiful Damascus pattern of the blades.

8” Chef’s Knife

The most important and versatile knife. Also called a Cook’s Knife. Use for slicing, dicing, chopping and mincing. The shape of the blade allows user to rock the knife for a clean, precise cut.

8” Serrated Bread Knife

For cutting loaves of bread, cakes, etc. Cleanly slices crust without tearing softer bread inside.

8” Carving Knife

Also called a slicing Knife. Use for cooked meats, larger fruits and vegetables. Blade is more narrow than a Chef’s Knife for more accurate cutting.

3.5” Paring Knife

Ideal for hand-held work. For peeling, slicing and trimming fruit, veggies, cheese and more.

Bamboo Block

Bamboo is hard and stain resistant, which makes it great for holding extremely sharp knives. It’s also a rapidly renewable resource that’s grown without chemicals.
