Each trap is 8 inches ( 19 cm ) in diameter and 10 inches ( 25 cm ) tall. Empty weight is 4 ounces (115 grams ).

How to Use

Hang the trap outside. Lift off the lid and add the Ultra Biomass Bait. Add one quart of water and a pinch of soil. Replace the lid, and it’s ready to start trapping flies. When full, dispose of the entire trap and contents in the garbage.

The unit should be at least 30 ft. (10 metres) away from the area that you want to protect. Pour in the powdered Ultra Biomass bait and add a 1 quart (1 liter) of water. Hang at least 5 ft. (1.6 metres) off the ground in direct sunlight. The sun's natural warmth activates the bait and gets the scent airborne.

The bait is effective for up to 4 to 6 weeks, after which the entire unit is removed and thrown away. The contents are safely bio-degradable.

- How do I know when i maximized the 20,000 fly capacity? I have maggots hatched inside the dead flies and some of those are climbing out of the trap, is this normal?
- If small flies have hatched and are climbing out, it might be a good idea to throw that trap out and use another one.
