Questions about the FEIT Electric Dimmable PAR30 Flood Reflector LED, 13.5-watts
2 Item(s)
- From Mike at 9/26/12 12:43 PM
- Just to be sure....the FEIT Electric Dimmable Par30 relfector flood will work to replace a 65watt flood? Also am I correct that the Par30 can be used in same the canned light housing that was put in for an incandescent 65 watt bulb? What is better for a kitchen with canned lighting a warm or cool Par30?
Thanks - Yes, this bulb will work to replace a 65W flood, and it can be used in the same canned light housing for the incandescent bulb. As for the difference between warm and cool lighting, this is a matter of personal preference. Usually you will see cool lighting in kitchens and bathrooms.

- Based on our comparison chart (http://eartheasy.com/live_led_bulbs_comparison.html), the closest equivalent to an 85W BR40 reflector flood light would be either the FEIT Electric PAR30 Flood Reflector LED (http://eartheasy.com/energy-efficiency/energy-efficient-led-lighting/feit-electric-par30-flood-reflector-led-11-watts), or its dimmable counterpart (http://eartheasy.com/energy-efficiency/energy-efficient-led-lighting/feit-electric-dimmable-par30-flood-reflector-led-13-5-watts).

Highly recommend

I have been looking for LED bulbs that would work well in can fixtures in our house. Prior to trying this bulb, I didn't find one that was both bright and good color balance. This lamp is the brightest lamp I have found, and it does not turn our hardwood floors some deathly shade, like some others I have tried.
