The Compost Wizard Hybrid features a rotating composter on top and a 47-gallon rain barrel on the bottom! Combines the best of both composting and rainwater collection, and takes up less space.
Overview
When composting, simply add your waste through the large lid and give it several good turns. The composter sits on four spinning wheels, which are mounted on top of the rain barrel. It is easy to spin the composter by hand, even when it's full.
As the compost tumbler rotates, excess liquid from the compost flows into the base where it is channeled into the barrel. From there it mixes directly with the rainwater, and turns into nutrient-rich liquid fertilizer for your garden.
There is a screened opening at the rear of the unit where water from your downspout can flow into the rain barrel. The screen keeps out debris and mosquitoes.
