Avid gardeners will find many ways to grow organic vegetables, or showcase favorite plants by positioning these cedar garden beds throughout the landscape, on a patio or in a garden. In addition, the Port Orford cedar wood is unfinished with any stain or coating to ensure the healthiest conditions for your vegetables. Gardeners with mobility problems will also appreciate working in these beds.

All parts are pre-drilled, and all hardware is included. The 8' and 10' lengths come with metal straps to prevent bowing. The posts have grooves in them with a metal mounting bracket. The side boards fit into the groove and are screwed in with the bracket. To aid in drainage, these raised beds sit flat on the ground, and do no have a bottom.

Natural, rot-resistant wood – Port Orford cedar lasts up to thirty years or more, even left unfinished. You can also stain the outside of the boards if you want them to blend in with your fence or patio design.

These raised beds are made from Port-Orford cedar—the strongest of all cedars. As strong as Douglas Fir and more rot-resistant than Redwood. Port-Orford cedar (also known as Lawson cypress) is a fragrant, light-colored wood with even texture and strong natural oils that help protect against moisture and microorganisms.

Port-Orford cedar's superior strength and durability means these raised beds last many times longer than most lumber found in stores. In normal conditions, we estimate a life-span of 30+ years. And that's likely a conservative estimate. It really is an extraordinary wood—perfect for long-lasting raised beds!
