The Brill Razorcut 38 is the newest reel mower model from Brill. This German-engineered, precision designed machine is, in our opinion, the Mercedes of reel lawnmowers.
The Brill Razorcut 38 is 2lbs heavier, and cuts a 2" wider swath than the Brill Razorcut 33.
It has the same great features of past Brill push mowers, with a sleeker new look and an improved, stiffer handle.

- Precision 5 blade contact-free cutting system - flame hardened, bearing mounted blades
- Silent cut design -- The blade misses the bedknife by less than a millimeter. This reduces friction and allows the mower to cut the grass like scissors. It also increases the blade life, which means you won't have to sharpen for a decade or more.
- Cutting swath: 15.2 inches
- Cutting height .7 – 1.8 inches, easily adjustable
- Flame hardened, welded steel blades - harder than tempered alloy, which also helps increase blade life.
- Dry powder coat on metal components - Powder coated surfaces are more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing than other finishes. Colors stay bright and vibrant longer. Powder coating is also better for the environment, because no solvents are used in its application.

- Is there any add ons for this mower? can you attach a bag or grass catcher of some sort?
- Yes, you can add on the optional grass catcher. Click to the Brill 38 page, then look on the line above the 'Add to Cart' button. You'll see 'Accessories'. Select the Grass catcher.

- We try to cut our lawn to about 2.5 inches at the shortest. Any shorter than that and our lawn would dry out. The height adjustment is really that small on these?
- The Brill Razorcut 38 Push Lawn Mower has variable adjustment for different cutting heights. It will cut at 2.5 inches, although we recommend lawns be cut at 3" for protecting the soil as you mention.
