What effect will these artificial particles have on the fields fertilized by top-soil building sludge after anaerobic digestion for methane gas recovery? Will plants reject them, or will they be absorbed by the plants, and reach the food chine more directly that way?

Really frightening information. The fact that you cannot taste these dangerous chemicals is a big reason that so many people seem to not be aware of this. The information needs to be spread and people need to start thinking about these pollutants like they do lead in water.

Another scary and frustrating article. We’ve really created a mess for ourselves with all our pollution and creation of toxic substances. It would seem like the best way to stop or slow down the damage we’re doing is to reduce our consumption. Yet even that has significant consequences on our life since we are a consumer-driven economy.

Every direction you turn has difficult tradeoffs. I think eventually we all need to arrive at a global agreement on what our priorities should be. I don’t think we’re going to solve our problems with everyone pursuing their own interests without considering the impact on everyone else.

Very interesting read. Can all synthetic fibers lead to this type of microscopic pollution or is it just certain ones. I do not know what the solution to this problem would be since even natural fibers can cause pollution when they degrade in landfills.

Fascinating & a bit scary although not as much as all the engineered food we’re already eating & don’t really understand yet. Absolutely agree we can all live with less clothing & less of almost everything.
