So many books and publications just go on and on about how bad things are. I love when, for a change, someone offers what can be done about the problem instead of merely contributing to the depressing mood.

Wow! What a fundamental and yet insightful view of humankind. I’ve been saying for a long time that we are living on borrowed time in this world. I do my best to recycle, mulch, reuse, and generally do the “right thing,” but feel I’m in the minority. In order to keep up at this pace, the world would need steriod injections. We are just depleting supplies faster than they can be replenished, and without more people caring about this, it will only get worse.

Something fundamental has to change before our society will "listen to Life" in order to learn how to live ecologically. Money, and the accumulation of wealth, feeds our hubris to where we think nature can be subjugated to our will. We want to rule Life.
