One more. To save water, do not use the toilet as a trash can. Some items belong in the trash like sanitary items and applicators, personal wipes, dental floss, condoms, Q-tips, etc. Try biodegradable personal size bags to dispose of these items and save 1.5 to 3 gallons of water each time you don't flush.
