- In North-East Georgia we get torrential blowing downpours of rain frequently throughout the Summer and Fall. Are the "Waspinators" WATERPROOF or will they fall apart like a wet paper bag. Obviously the red paper wasps nests made from wood are rainproof. What MATERIALS are these made from? Thanks!
- Unfortunately the Bee Free Wasp Deterrent is not waterproof, as it is made of a paper composite. It is best placed in a protected area, such as under a roof.

- Hi,
I have a metal roof that comes down half way on my balcony with the remainder aluminum siding. The roof portion has about 20 square cylinder that the wasp are nesting in. Will the Wasp Deterrent work even if the next are already being build.
It is like a missile attack when you go out on the balcony right now as the wasp look for the correct cylinder where their nests are. - It is likely that the because you have established nests, the Bee Free Wasp Deterrent may not work.

- We are interested in trying these, but live in a part of the country where the weather changes constantly. One hour it will be raining, the next it will be sunny and warm. Later it will rain again. I don't want to have to be constantly putting up and taking down the nests. Can you hang these in any weather?

Bought 2 of these several years ago for our large patio. We constantly fought to keep the wasps from building nests. Haven't had any trouble since. They fly in and look aroung but they do not build nests now. This worked on our red wasps, and mud dobbers.

I bought this because the wasps just love the heat hitting the side of my house. These traps don't work! They flew right by it, some landed on it and they didn't even care it was there. Save your money

Doesn't work on Yellow Jackets - I returned

I bought this to scare yellow jackets away from my house in the woods in Montana. They were constantly bothering us on our deck and when walking around the property. It's impossible to find the underground nests on 20 acres of pine forest. The fake nests did absolutely nothing to scare them away. I was extremely disappointed and returned them!

I hung this on my porch, where my husband hangs a basket of flowers, we had wasps and bees all the time. After 1 1/2 to 2 days they were gone. My husband made fun on me when I bought now he is a believer.
